MY WIFE'S WATCH

This is my wife's daily wear watch.
The Rolex Date Ref:115200

34mm case size, back in the days... this is considered men's size.
With the trend of going with bigger watches, this is suitable for women.

Proof that ladies do not wear their watches with care like us WIS do. After 6 months... check out the amount of scratches on the bracelet and clasp.... gasp!!

Newer Rolex watches come with an engraved rehaut / chapter ring.
Crown engraving at 12 o'clock and R.O.L.E.X repeating thereafter with one alphabet per minute marker.
Watch serial number is also engraved on the 6 o'clock side.

This watch is fitted with the Rolex caliber 3135 which is found in watches like the Submariner Date, Yachtmaster, Datejust and many more. A true Rolex workhorse that will guarantee good timekeeping and reliability.

I happen to get this one for a good price and now my wife is enjoying it daily.

  1. Simple, straight forward and absolutely beautiful. Definately a perfect daily beater. I think she wore it well...agree that we'd probably take care of our watches better but this one is indeed well worn and tested as it should. Rolexes are meant to last...so prove it. Being proven by your wife right here. I say well done.

  2. I too agree that watches are meant to be worn and scratches and dings are just part and parcel of owning a watch. It just adds character to the watch IMHO.
